DESCRIPTION
URO-vaxom is an oral medication that contains a specific preparation of bacterial extracts from Escherichia coli (E. coli). It is designed to stimulate the immune system to help prevent and manage recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), particularly in individuals prone to these infections. It works by enhancing the body's immune response against the bacteria commonly responsible for UTIs.
URO-vaxom is primarily used to reduce the frequency of UTIs in people who experience recurrent infections. It stimulates the body’s immune defenses, especially in the urinary tract, making it more effective in fighting off bacterial infections caused by E. coli.
PACKAGING & DOSAGE
One pack contains 30 tablets.
Active ingredient: E. coli extract (6 mg per tablet).
Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, corn starch, hypromellose (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), microcrystalline cellulose.
The usual dosage for adults and children over 6 years old is one capsule daily for a duration of 3 months. It is often recommended to take the capsule on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning.
