DESCRIPTION
Sulodexide is a unique glycosaminoglycan complex with a low molecular weight, allowing for extensive oral absorption and a prolonged half-life compared to unfractionated heparin. It acts by potentiating the activity of both antithrombin III and heparin cofactor II, leading to antithrombotic and profibrinolytic effects. Sulodexide reduces blood and plasma viscosity, lowers triglycerides and cholesterol, increases HDL, and exerts anti-inflammatory and endothelial-protective actions. It is well tolerated, with a low risk of bleeding compared to classic anticoagulants.
Sulodexide is used for the prophylaxis and treatment of arterial and venous thromboembolic diseases and chronic venous insufficiency.

Dosage:
1 capsule (250 LSU) twice daily, usually taken on an empty stomach or at least 30 minutes before meals.
