DESCRIPTION
Dexamethasone eye drops are used to treat inflammation of the eyes caused by allergies and certain conditions, including damage caused by chemical and thermal burns. Dexamethasone eye insert is used to treat eye pain and inflammation after eye surgery.
PACKAGING & DOSAGE
The medication comes in the form of eye drops, 0,1% concentration, 5 ml per vial.
Active ingredient: 1 ml contains 1 mg of dexamethasone.
Excipients: Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose - 0.5%, distilled water, preservative: benzalkonium chloride - 0.01%.
The eye drops are a sterile solution. Wash your hands before use. Do not touch the dropper of the drug. Do not apply the medication with contact lenses on. The techniques of application can be important for efficacy. It can be helpful to pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch for placing a drop into it.
It is recommended to use 1-2 drops to the eye every 3-6 hours. If you use several products, administer the drugs at 5-10 minute intervals.
STORAGE
Store in dry place at 8-30 degrees Celsius. Consume within 4 weeks once the vial is open.
