Eugeroics

An Eugeroic in simple words is a wakefulness promoting agent.

Eugeroics are used to treat excessive daytime sleepiness. They’re also used off-label to help people stay alert at work or school to achieve longer working hours and get more out of their work or study session.

Most eugeroics work through a stimulating effect on the brain. We often refer to this class of drugs as a central nervous system stimulant, or more simply, “stimulants.”

The two most popular Eugeroics are modafinil and armodafinil, both are sold under different names and are produced by different manufacturers. Some people much prefer modafinil, while others prefer the slightly more intense armodafinil. It all depends on how the drug affects you individually.
