DESCRIPTION
Dorzopt is a topical ophthalmic product that works by reducing the intraocular fluid secretion. Dorzolamide the active ingredient of Dorzopt is in a class of medications called carbonic anhydrase inhibitors.
PACKAGING & DOSAGE
The medication comes in the form of eye drops, 2% concentration, 5 ml per vial, 1 vial per pack.
Active ingredient: Dorzolamide (in the form of hydrochloride) - 20 mg.
Excipients: Hyethylose, mannitol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
The eye drops are a sterile solution. Wash your hands before use. The usual dose is 1 drop 3 times a day.
Remove contact lenses before the use of the drug and wait for 15 minutes after the application of Dorzopt to put in lenses back. It’s advised to tilt our head back for a more convenient intake.
Sometimes the therapy may include several drugs for a more pronounced effect. In case the patient uses several products, they should be administered at 5-10 minutes intervals. If the medication is prescribed as a substitute for some other drug the person should wait for 1 day until the substances of previous medications are excreted from the body.
STORAGE
Store in dry place at room temperature. Do not exceed storage temperature higher than 25 degrees Celsius. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep locked and away from children.
