CAFFEINE SODIUM BENZOATE is a methylxanthine, which has a psychostimulating and analeptic effect. Blocks central and peripheral A1 and A2 adenosine receptors. It inhibits the activity of phosphodiesterase in the central nervous system, heart, smooth and striated muscle tissue, adipose tissue, contributes to the accumulation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (this effect is observed when only high doses of caffeine are used). Stimulates the centers of the medulla oblongata (respiratory and vasomotor), as well as the center of the vagus nerve, has a direct stimulating effect on the cerebral cortex. In high doses, it facilitates interneuronal conduction in the spinal cord, enhancing reflexes. Increases mental and physical performance, stimulates mental activity, physical activity, shortens the reaction time, temporarily reduces fatigue and drowsiness. DESCRIPTION
Caffeine Sodium Benzoate speeds up and deepens breathing. Has a direct relaxing effect on the vascular wall, which leads to vasodilation of the heart, skeletal muscles and kidneys, while the tone of the cerebral arteries increases (causes a narrowing of the cerebral vessels, which is accompanied by a decrease in cerebral blood flow). Blood pressure changes under the action of vascular and cardiac mechanisms of caffeine influence: at normal initial blood pressure, caffeine does not change or slightly increases it, with arterial hypotension it increases it.
Has an antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles (including bronchodilating effect), on striated muscles - stimulating. Increases the secretory activity of the stomach and diuresis (a decrease in the reabsorption of sodium and water in the proximal and distal renal tubules, as well as vasodilation of the kidneys and an increase in filtration in the renal glomeruli).
Reduces platelet aggregation and the release of histamine from mast cells. Increases basal metabolism: glycogenolysis and lipolysis.
PACKAGE & DOSAGE

Excipients: potato starch, calcium stearate.
Unless otherwise prescribed, 100 mg is recommended to be taken orally once per day, swallowing whole, without chewing, with some water.
