DESCRIPTION
Neurobion®, “the nerve care” expert brand of Merck Consumer Health, is well established and trusted by doctors around the world. It was first registered in Austria in 1962 and is now the world leader in vitamin B combination products[1]. It is usually recommended for use in treating B vitamin deficiencies including their possible neurological symptoms, as well as, peripheral neuropathy symptoms. Neurobion® specifically includes combinations of Neurotropic B vitamins (B1, B6 and B12) which have a role in nourishing, enriching and helping to regenerate nerves in those with compromised nerve health.

PACKAGING
Neurobion comes in a form of tablets or ampuls for injection.

Tablets:
Thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B1) - 100mg
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) - 200mg
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) - 200μg

Ampuls:
Thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1) - 100 mg
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) - 100 mg
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) - 1 mg

DOSAGE
Tablets:
Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age take 1 tablet 3 times a day or as directed by a doctor. Children under 15 years of age follow dosage by your doctor. Tablets should be taken without chewing, with with a small amount of water, preferably with food. The duration of treatment is 4-6 weeks.

Ampuls:
Neurobion is injected intramuscularly (deep injections into the gluteus muscle). Treatment is recommended to begin with intramuscular injection of 1 ampul (3 ml) per day until acute symptoms are removed. After improvement of symptoms: 1 ampul 1-3 times a week for 2-3 weeks.

SIDE EFFECTS AND PRECAUTIONS
On rare ocassions: allergic reactions, mainly in the form of skin rash.

STORAGE
Store in dry place at room temperature. Do not exceed storage temperature higher than 25 degrees Celcius. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep locked and away from children.
