DESCRIPTION
Movalis is an oxicam, enolic acid derivative. It provides anti-inflammatory, analgesic and pyretic effects. It works by decreasing prostaglandin biosynthesis through COX-2 enzyme activity, with low affinity to COX-1, which lessens the possibility of negative influence on upper gastrointestinal. Movalis does not affect proteoglycan synthesis by chondrocytes of articular cartilage.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE
Movalis comes in a form of tablets of various dosages and pack sizes.
Tablets are taken orally with meals.
Rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis: initial dose is 15mg/day. After reaching the therapeutic effect the dose may be decreased to 7,5mg/day.
Osteoarthritis: initial dose is 7,5-15mg/day.
Maximum dose is 15mg/day.
In patients with severe renal insufficiency hemodialysis daily dose is 7,5mg.
The duration of therapy is set by your doctor.

Store in dry place at room temperature. Do not exceed storage temperature higher than 25 degrees Celcius. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep locked and away from children.
