Montlezir is a combination therapy containing:
- Levocetirizine dihydrochloride is a second-generation antihistamine that belongs to the piperazine derivative class. It is the active enantiomer of cetirizine and is used to treat various allergic conditions by blocking the H1 histamine receptors, reducing allergic symptoms.
- Montelukast sodium is a leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA) used to manage and prevent asthma and allergic conditions. It works by blocking leukotrienes, inflammatory chemicals in the body that cause airway constriction, mucus production, and inflammation.
The tablets are film-coated, typically yellow or brownish-yellow, with two layers—one white to off-white and the other light yellow.

Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, iron oxide yellow, Hypromellose, titanium dioxide, macrogol 400, iron oxide yellow, polysorbate 80, iron oxide red.
Adults and children over 15 years: Take one tablet once daily, swallowed with water, regardless of meals.
SIDE EFFECTS
Common side effects may include headache, drowsiness, fatigue, dry mouth, and abdominal pain. Less commonly, patients might experience dizziness, nausea, or hypersensitivity reactions.
