DESCRIPTION
Imudon comes in the form of lozenges of white or almost white color. The lozenges have a flat-cylindrical form with a smooth shiny surface and beveled edges. There can be slight marbling in the tablets. The product also has a mint taste. It is important to remember that the product contains 15 mg of sodium. It may be an issue for patients who stick to low-salt and salt-free diet. Patients with bronchial asthma should avoid intake of Imudon as it contains bacterial lysates causing an exacerbation of bronchial asthma.

PACKAGE & DOSAGE
The medication is administered orally. Prescribed for patients with age over 14 years old. The patients should not eat or drink after Imudon for an hour because food and drinks reduce the efficacy of the preparation.
Doctor usually prescribes 6 tablets a day to prevent exacerbation of chronic inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx. It is advised to take the product every 2 hours. The duration of this therapy is 20 days. Physicians recommend conducting preventive therapy 3-4 times a year.
In the case of acute medical condition or chronic disease, the doctor can prescribe up to 8 tablets a day. It’s important to dissolve the tablets without chewing them. Take the medication every two hours. On average the therapy lasts 10 days.

Active ingredients:
Mixture of bacterial lysates (dry matter) 50 mg in total:
Streptococcus pyogenes group A, Enterococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecium, Streptococcus sanguis, Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae subsp. pneumoniae, Corynebacterium pseudodiphtheriticum, Fusobacterium nucleatum subsp. nucleatum, Candida albicans, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus helveticus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. lactis.

Excipients:
Lactose; mannitol; glycine; povidone; sodium saccharinate; sodium bicarbonate; sodium deoxycholate; anhydrous citric acid; mint powder; magnesium stearate; sodium merthiolate (preservative) - no more than 12.5 μg / tab.
