DESCRIPTION
The active ingredient of Aminalon is gamma-amino-butyric acid (GABA) which mediates the inhibitory processes in the central neural system. Aminalon is the nootropic drug or smart drug which function is to improve mental processes as memory, attention and intelligence. Aminalon is also considered to be able to lower blood pressure and to decrease the symptoms of hypertension such as insomnia and dizziness. Aminalon increases resistance of the organism to oxygen deprivation.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE
Aminalon is taken orally in 30 - 60 minutes before meals. Pill is swallowed without chewing, with a little portion of water.
Dosage for adults:
The first 3-5 days: 250 mg/single dose. Then the dose is increased up to 500 mg.
Dosage for pediatric patients:
Age 1-3 years old: 1000 mg a day; 4-6 years old: 2000 mg a day; 7 years old and over: 3000 mg a day.
Period of intake is 14 days up to 4 months.
