DESCRIPTION
P-NOLOL (Propranolol) works by blocking beta-adrenergic receptors in the heart and throughout the body, leading to decreased heart rate, reduced blood pressure, and diminished heart workload. It is available in multiple oral formulations (immediate- and extended-release tablets, capsules, liquids) and can be administered intravenously in emergency settings.

P-NOLOL (Propranolol) competitively inhibits both β1 and β2 adrenergic receptors. This blocks the effects of stress hormones (catecholamines), slowing the heart rate, reducing contractility, and lowering blood pressure. Peripheral β2 blockade additionally reduces tremor and helps prevent migraine attacks.

Benefits:
  • Effective blood pressure and angina control.
  • Reduces risk of recurrent heart attacks.
  • Prevents migraine attacks.
  • Reduces tremor and physical symptoms of anxiety.
