DESCRIPTION
Pitavastatin helps lower the amount of bad cholesterol (called LDL) and fats in the blood while increasing the good cholesterol (called HDL). Active ingredient (tablet 1-4 mg): Pitavastatin calcium 1-4 mg (equivalent to pitavastatin).
Excipients of the core: Lactose monohydrate, hyprolose low substituted, hypromellose, magnesium aluminometasilicate, magnesium stearate.
The typical starting dose of Pitavastatin is 1 mg to 4 mg once daily. The dose may be adjusted based on the patient's response and tolerance, with a maximum dose of 4 mg per day. It is usually taken orally once a day, with or without food.
