DESCRIPTION
Phenibut (beta-phenyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid) is a neuropsychotropic drug with anxiolytic and nootropic (cognition enhancing) effects. Phenibut easily crosses the blood-brain barrier due to incorporation of a phenyl ring into the GABA molecule. Phenibut acts as an agonist of the GABAB receptor and at higher doses also of the GABAA receptor. It also increases dopamine levels in the striatum. Phenibut is used ti treat post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, asthenia, insomnia, alcoholism, stuttering, and vestibular disorders.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE
Active ingredient: Aminophenylbutyric Hydrochloride Acid - 250 mg.
Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, povidone K-25, calcium stearate, potato starch.
One pack contains 20 pills of 250 mg each.
250-500 mg (1-2 pills) 3 times a day. Maximum single dose: 750 mg, for patients over 60 years: 500 mg. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. If necessary, the course of treatment can be prolonged to 4-6 weeks. Patients, who have somnolence or other central nervous system disturbances during administration of Phenibut, should be careful about driving.
