PANTOGAM ACTIVE (aka Hopantenic acid, GABA) is a central nervous system depressant. Pantogam increases the brain's resistance to hypoxia and to effects of toxic substances, it stimulates anabolic processes in the neurons by combining moderate sedation with a mild stimulating effect, reduces the motor excitability, activates the mental and physical performance, possesses anticonvulsive action. Pantogam Active also increases mental and physical capacity for work, normalizes the GABA metabolism in the alcoholic intoxication. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PANTOGAM AND PANTOGAM ACTIVE
Pantogam Active contains D, L-hopantenic acid - a racemic modification of Pantogam which contains D-hopantenic acid. The content of L-isomer hopantenic acid improves the interaction of the drug with the receptor gamma-aminobutyric acid. Pantogam Active has a more pronounced antiasthenic, anticonvulsant and nootropic effects.

DESCRIPTION
Pantogam Active includes gamma-aminobutyric acid which has a direct effect on GABA-B-receptor-channel complex. The structure of Pantogam Active is a racemic mixture of equal parts of hopantenic acid and its S-isomer. The presence of S-isomer improves the transmission of the medicine and its interaction with GABA receptors. Pantogam Active has more distinct neuroprotective and anticonvulsant effects than the homopantothenic acid medicines of the first generation.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE
Active substance: D,L-homopantothenic acid
Excipients:microcrystalline cellulose 20,97mg, magnesium stearate 1,53mg
The general dose is 300-900mg (1-3 capsules) 15-20 minutes after meal 2-3 times per day (preferably in the morning and at day time). Maximum dose is 2400mg (8 capsules).
The course of treatment is 1-4 months, if required 6-12 months. Treatment course may be repeated after 3-6 months.

I enjoyed using pantogam active. It does have less irritating effect on a stomech as original formula. Even though I have more energy, my energy levels go up and down during 24 hour period unpredictably. I also have damaged stomech lining which means obsorbancy issues. Overall I found it being a better version to Aderall medication that being suggested by a doctor. I'm glad I have this option that makes me function.
For me this is one of those Nootropics which has a very discernable affect upon me. I would say this within minutes of taking the tablet you can feel yourself relax but you can also feel your mood sharpen and your thought process improve. It also makes me physically more productive, doing jobs around my house which I would usually not be too keen to do. Very impressed.
