DESCRIPTION
Novocaine is an anesthetic agent. It slows the propagation of the nerve impulse by reducing the rise of the action potential thus blocking the generation and the conduction of nerve impulses. Novocaine works by blocking the electrical transmission along nerves in a particular area. It activates the cell membrane stability, reduces its permeability, thereby inhibiting the flow of sodium ions through the membranes, making the nerves electrically quiescent; thus no pain signals are sent to the spinal cord or to the brain. INSTRUCTIONS & DOSAGE
Active substance: procaine hydrochloride 500mg

Novocaine is administered as an intramuscular injections. Usual dose is 5-10ml 1-2% diluted solution 3 times/week for one month. After then - 10-day interval.
Infiltration anesthesia: 0,25-0,5% solutions
Epidural anesthesia: 2% solution
