DESCRIPTION
Noofen is a derivative of gamma-aminobutyric acid and phenylethylamine. Being a product of GABA it functions as an agonist to the receptor of metabotropic GABA-B, and at high doses, acts as agonist to the receptor of the ionotropic GABA-A, which provides relaxing and general inhibitory action on the brain. It also helps lessen levels of adrenalin in the hippocampus, and reduces undesirable stimulation. Noofen increases dopamine level, thus providing anti-anxiety and antidepressant effects.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE
Active substance: Aminophenylbutyric Hydrochloride Acid - 250mg
Excipients: lactose, potato starch, stearate Ca.

The usual dose for adults is 250-500mg 3 times a day before meals. Maximum daily dose is 750mg.
