DESCRIPTION
Epitalon (AGAG) is a tetrapeptide, that consists of amino acids and has a chemical structure Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. Epitalon activates enzyme telomerase, which leads to telomere elongation. Geroprotective effect of Epitalon is provided by its ability to stimulate melatonin production. Melatonin is a natural antioxidant. Besides, Epitalon increases sensitivity of the hypothalamic-pituitary system to hormones and raises the activity of telomerase. It is effective in treating ovaries imparements.
PACKAGING & DOSAGE
Comes in the form of white powder. Each vial contains 10 mg of Epitalon, total of 5 vials per pack. For intramuscular administration and is best injected into shoulder, side of arm or stomach fold.
The powder should be mixed with 2 ml of water for injection (WFI). The daily Epitalon dose is 2.5-5 mg. Course duration is 30-50 days. Repeat the course in 2 months.
Injections should prefferably be done in the morning at 08:00-10:00 since the body's natural production of melatonin actives from about mid-day and you may experience insomnia.

MIXING WITH WATER FOR INJECTION
It is required to inject 2 ml of sterile water for injection (WFI) into the vial. After injecting WFI into dry Epitalon powder, the contents of the vial need should not be shaken violently. WFI is injected slowly with a syringe so that a thin stream of water flows down the walls of the vial. WFI and Epitalon powder should be mixed in smooth stir movements.
STORAGE
1. Peptide powder in a sealed vial can be stored for up to 5 years in a fridge-freezer in temperature minus 15C degrees and lower.
2. Peptide powder in a sealed vial can be stored for up to 2 years in a fridge in temperature 2-8C degrees.
3. Peptide powder in a sealed vial can be stores for not more than 6 months at room temperature. If Epitalon is already in the form of a solution/liquid, then it can not be stored in the freezer (freezing in liquid form will destroy the peptide). The solution/liquid should be kept in the refrigerator.
