DESCRIPTION
The medication works by affecting the chemical in the brain of the patient, in particular, serotonin and norepinephrine, which is usually unbalanced in patients who suffer from depression. The preparation helps to stabilize the condition of the patients who usually notice that they start sleeping well, have a good mood, appetite, and more energy. This is not a kind of drug that can be stopped abruptly. It should be taken even when the patient feels well.
PACKAGING & DOSAGE
You must consult your doctor before using Duloxetine. Comes in the form of capsules, 20 mg per capsule. The active ingredient is Duloxetine. The treatment course continues for 2-4 weeks. However, the therapy can take longer when the patients suffer from nerve pain.
Take the preparation once a day. The dose depends upon the diagnosis and severity of the condition: from 30 to 60mg for anxiety, nerve pain, and depression. The patients diagnosed with stress urinary incontinence should take 20 or 40 mg capsules.
The capsules shouldn’t be chewed or crushed. It works effectively if you swallow them whole. Drink water or juice when you swallow the capsules. Try to do it at the same time daily. It doesn’t matter if the capsules are taken during meals or at other times.
