BACLOSIGN® (Baclofen, Riclofen, Kemstro, Baclospa) is centrally acting muscle relaxant. It works by blocking the activity of brain nerves that control the relaxation of skeletal muscle. It is used for the treatment of spastic movement disorders, especially in instances of spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, and multiple sclerosis. Baclosan retains its therapeutic anti-spasmodic effects even after many years of continued use.

DESCRIPTION
Baclosan is a derivative of gamma-aminobutyric acid; GABA-receptor agonist. It depresses mono- and polysynaptic neurotransmission by reducing excitability of afferent neurons and intervening neurons; reduces skeletal muscle tone. Baclosan does not affect the neurotransmission in the nerve-muscle synapses. Treatment by Baclosan eases painful spasms and tonic-clonic convulsions associated with neurological diseases accompanied by spastic muscle tone. INSTRUCTIONS & DOSAGE
Active substance: baclofen 10-25 mg
Excipients: lactose, potato starch, gelatin, talc, magnesium stearate, ethylcellulose

For oral administration. Starting dose for adults - 5 mg 3 times/day with meals. For the development of optimal therapeutic effect, the dose should be increased every 3 days to 30-75mg/day. Maximum dose is 100mg/day. For children starting dose is 5mg 3 times/day with meals. If it is required, the dose may be increased every 3 days. Daily recommended dose for children aged 1-2 years is 10-20 mg/day; for children aged 2-10 years - 30-60mg/day; for children aged 6-10 years is 30-60mg/day.

STORAGE
Store in dry place at room temperature. Do not exceed storage temperature higher than 25 degrees Celcius. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep locked and away from children.
