DESCRIPTION
Arifine (Aripiprazole) is a versatile atypical antipsychotic medication used mainly to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression adjunctively, autism-related irritability, and Tourette's disorder. It balances brain dopamine and serotonin to improve symptoms with a generally favorable side effect profile compared to older antipsychotics.
Arifine (Aripiprazole) is a second-generation (atypical) antipsychotic. It modulates dopamine and serotonin receptors, acting as a partial agonist at dopamine D2 receptors and serotonin 5-HT1A receptors while antagonizing 5-HT2A receptors. This unique action contributes to symptom relief with fewer motor and metabolic side effects compared to first-generation antipsychotics.

Benefits:
  •  Reduces psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions.
  • Controls mood swings in bipolar disorder.
  • Decreases irritability in autism.
  • Improves cognitive function and reduces some side effects such as tardive dyskinesia and cardiovascular risks in patients relative to older antipsychotics.
  • May restore sexual function and reduce alcohol cravings in dependent patients.
