Description
ALBENZA (Albendazole) is an antibiotic that helps get rid of certain “bad worms” that can live in a person’s body and make them sick. It works by killing and stopping the further growth of parasites causing the infection. Albenza makes it hard for the worms to use sugar from the body as food, so they lose energy and die. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant.
