Adaptol belongs to the group of drugs called anxiolytics and has nootropic properties. The drug has a moderate tranquilizing action, reduces or completely removes anxiety, fear, emotional stress, and irritability. The drug doesn't disturb mental or physical activity, consequently it can be administered during the day without any negative effect on work or studies. Nootropic characteristics of the drug improve cognitive functions such as logic, associative thinking, attention and help to work in a more productive way.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE
Adaptol comes in the form of tablets. Each tablet contains active ingredient Mebicar (500 mg).
The tablets are taken orally independently of meals.
Dose for adults: 500 mg 2-3 times a day. Maximum single dose is 3000 mg, maximum daily dose is 10000 mg. The period of therapy is 2-3 months.
Dose for decreasing the addiction to smoking: 500-1000 mg a day during 5-6 weeks.

This product worked great for my husband at first to quit cigarettes so I ordered 8 more packs thinking we will both use it. It does work for that but the side effects were to much. After a week or so the tranquilizer part of this med was to much making our demanding jobs difficult. It also has a weird way of giving you low grade anxiety. But if we could find a way to counteract the side effects it will work for quitting cigs.
