DESCRIPTION
Strattera, Atomoxet and Hypercon contain an active substance - atomoxetine. Atomoxetine is potent selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, that has minimal affinity for other noradrenergic receptors and for various neurotransmitter transporters and receptors. Atomoxetine is not an amphetamine derivative and does not provide psychostimulant effect.

PACKAGING & DOSAGE
Atomoxetine comes the form of tablets. Each tablet contains active ingredient - atomoxetine - 10-40 mg.
For oral administration with or without food 1-2 times/day. The first pill should be taken early in the morning and the second one in the early evening.

Dosage:
Kids and adolescent with the weight less than 70kg: initial daily dose is 0.5mg/kg, which is increased up to 1.2mg.kg not earlier than 3 days.
Adults and kids with weight over 70 kg: initial daily dose is 40mg, which is increased up to 80mg in 3 days.
Recommended maintenance dose is 80mg.
